We have built this home and bed and breakfast ourselves. A first part in 2005 and the addition for the B&B in 2014. An outstanding team, Benoit having worked for many years in the construction industry and Marcelle, his muse with a background in visual arts. she has also worked as a massage therapist since 1995. It is with a concern for going beyond, both in construction standards and in the quality of materials. For example all the woodwork, the majority of the furniture in the bedrooms and the tables in the dining room were made from a hundred-year-old pine that we had on our ground.
The B&B is a second career for us and we like to maintain: the garden the fruit trees, the flowers, the house in order to provide a good environment to live. While being close to the city center, the B&B has an atmosphere of calm and tranquility. Close to nature, you can occasionally see hares and deer. Bird feeders attract goldfinches, blue jays, cardinals, and hummingbirds. Without forgetting the domestic hens which give us good eggs daily. Breakfast are made with food from our garden or purchased locally. Prepare each morning with love. Our breakfasts are said to be delicious, plentiful, tasty and different. For travelers and workers, it is a particularly pleasant atmosphere to find themselves in a comfortable environment like at home. Spacious rooms, private bathroom, air conditioning, television, fridge, wi-fi and much more… The objective, to make a quality B&B to share the space, the comfort and the tranquility of this site, with the most possible people.
The geographical location of the B&B is particularly interesting. Gî’TEMPS is located in the Easter Townships on the edge of the Montérégie. We are at the center of several commercial, sporting, and cultural activities in the region. Our land gives direct access to the Estriade bike path between Granby (5km) and Watherloo (15km); Bromont (7km). We are near the zoo and downtown Granby. Whithout going through a city center, the B&B is 10 minutes by car from the industrial parks, of Granby and Bromont. Same facility for Bromont Mountain and Yamaska National Park. For a relaxing day, the Balnéa spa is 20 km from Gî’TEPMS.
